The only boos emanating from the Petersen Events Center crowd last night came in the first half, when Steelers quarterback and Miami of Ohio alumnus Ben Roethlisberger was shown on the video scoreboard in a private box surrounded by red-clad RedHawks officials.
OK, so he was supporting his alma mater. That's acceptable. It's not like he was pictured holding up a Flyers jersey or anything sacrilegious like that.

Pitt had a balanced attack, with all five starters scoring between 10-14 points. Levance Fields added 12 dimes and DeJuan Blait contributed nine boards for the #5 (or #6, depending on what poll you read) team in the country.
Next up for Pitt is a Friday date with Akron, followed by IUP on Saturday. Those should boost the RPI exponentially.

I was at the game. Not sure what this reporter is talking about...there were mostly cheers when they showed him. Maybe the zoo booed a little.
Great game though. Go Pitt!!
They weren't booing... They were saying Big Boooo-en.
If anyone was booing, it was the Pitt students from Philly. They'd boo Baby Jesus if they put him on the jumbotron.
With good reason, bsblijoe3! Baby Jesus chose Ohio State instead of Dear Old Pitt.
Surprised to learn from the PG story that last night was Levance's first double-double.
i was saying boo-en
