As a result of that ugly incident on April 1, Penn State Coach/Institution Joe Paterno has issued a new policy to his young Nittany Lions: they'll be cleaning Beaver Stadium on Sunday after every home game. And not just the guys involved in the fracas; the entire team.
While I proudly identify myself as a Pitt fan, I applaud Paterno for the decision. I'm sure there will be much griping among those who didn't assault or burglarize anyone in the offseason. But hey, these guys should simply be happy that WVU isn't on their schedule. I'd hate for Anthony Morelli to be forced to pick up some Mountaineer fan's crap on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
